Workshops
In a landscape of digitally exhausted human’s seek to connect people in real life.
My goal is to inspire, and amplify engaging stories through the joy of elevated craft concepts, while placing experience and learning at the forefront as both the primary and most valued luxury.
I officially founded DBA workshops in 2020 in alignment with the broader cultural movement toward sustainable consumption. Although I’ve been teaching and sharing my love of ‘making’ since I was 6 years old.
I create bespoke workshops and creative experiences for private, branded and corporate clients.
Making is magic, Probably.
Workshop series example:
Lost-wax jewellery making
…under the glow of candle light.
Join Alice for a gentle, hands-on workshop exploring the ancient art of lost-wax casting and create your own silver talisman to keep or gift.
In this intimate session, you’ll be introduced to the tools and techniques of wax carving, guided slowly through the process of shaping a design that feels meaningful to you. There’s space here for intuition, for happy accidents, the wax ‘formers’ can be made and remade with careful sculpting, or melted into organic serendipitous designs… you can play until until you are happy with your piece. No experience is needed just curiosity and a desire to make.
Once your wax piece is complete, Alice will take it to be cast in solid recycled sterling silver at a local foundry in Hatton garden. Each piece will then be carefully polished and finished, ready to wear or gift within 2–4 weeks.
All are welcome. Whether you're making for yourself, for a friend, or for someone you love, this is a space for creativity, connection and craft.
